Carussin
Their story
The Carussin farm was founded in 1927 in S. Marzano Oliveto, a small town in the province of Asti. No chemicals were used on the farm since 1984 and has integrated many biodynamic practices into their farming. Today their 14 hectares are certified organic by “Suolo e Salute”.
There are around 10 donkeys at Carussin. Due to her passion for the animal, Bruna has created the Teaching Farm “Asinoi, Pane e Coccole” (“Asinoi, Bread and Petting”). The educational activities at the Teaching Farm are aimed at kids from elementary school. This project linked to the nonverbal communication, by playing that “everything that has life has a language” and that man, who holds an elaborative intelligence has the duty of finding the key to communication. Only by finding that key we could find out how to respect other living beings.
