Amy and Kenneth Cheng have been best friends for more than ten years. They share a habit of finding interesting projects, investing in them, running them and taking them further.
They were preparing a new concept for Shanghai when the world fell apart. So they settled in their hometown, Hong Kong, and started with part of that idea: a cellar for natural wine.
Their aim is the same today: to grow awareness of natural wine in Hong Kong and China.

“If you care where your eggs come from, why not care how your wine was made?”
Natural wine is made the old way. The grapes are farmed organically or biodynamically, picked by hand and fermented with nothing added beyond a little sulphite, if any. What ends up in the bottle is the grape and the year it had.
Amy finds it with small growers in Central and Eastern Europe: Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and their neighbours.

Adopt a Grapevine
The vines you can adopt grow on steep terraces above the Danube near Dürnstein, in Austria's Wachau: about one hectare of organic vines in a UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
In summer, while the grapes grow, Amy designs the label for your six bottles together with you.
